Procrastination Station

This is my fun little place where i can stand naked in front of the world and post all of the interesting things that I see and do, often times while i should be seeing and doing other things. I hope this inspires you to see and do something other than what you are 'supposed' to be. Enjoy the respite!

Where’s my Bailout?

via jeffmiller: ReasonTV

I know our election is the top priority right now, but afterward we need to get right back to this topic. We just gave 700 billion dollars to private companies! That’s fucking out of control people. And if you don’t think so, then you’re caught up in the hype & bullshit. Under no circumstances do Americans need to pay to save private corporations from failure. It’s that simple.

You can sit me down around a campfire and tell me all the horror stories of what would happen if we didn’t provide a bailout… Sometimes the forest needs to burn for it to grow again. If the company or system failed - it failed.

After the election, this bailout should be up for review by the U.S. Supreme Court. Taxing citizens to support private business? I don’t think so.
